SMTP Server

I am unable to get the SMTP settings in Zenarmor working. No matter what I put in there, I get "There was an issue on our end. Sorry about that.". I am certain that I am putting valid SMTP settings-- I have tried unencrypted, TLS, SSL, etc... multiple SMTP servers. Cannot get it to work. Assistance getting this to work would be greatly appreciated.

  Same error, reported today via reporting-bug procedure. 

  The cause is inside the argument parsing and management of the send.py script, explained in the sent bug description,  and on the OPNSense forum (to not repeat it here):
